KILDARE U21s set up a Leinster final meeting with Longford, following their impressive win over Laois in Parnell Park, on Wednesday night (20 March) on a score line of 3-22 to 0-7, writes TOMMY CALLAGHAN.
Kieran McGeeney’s boys took control of midfield from the throw in, Tommy Moolick and the impressive Sean Hurley dominating and led 0-11 to 0-5 at the break.
On the resumption they steam rolled their opponents who had little to offer as Kildare added an impressive 3-11 in the second half.
The final, against Longford who defeated Wexford in their semi final by 2-11 to 1-13, is scheduled for Wednesday week (April 3) in Portlaoise.
