Kildare senior football champions, Sarsfields, due to play St. Patrick’s of Louth on Sunday week, away, in the Leinster Club SFC quarter final, may yet get a home vennue.
Although the game is listed for a home game for St. Patrick’s, it is understood that a meeting of Leinster Council will discuss the venue tonight, Wednesday with the possibility that the Louth champions losing home advantage.
It has been the policy of Leinster Council that if a club loses home advantage, for whatever reason, then the game moves to the home of their opposition.
A decision is expected later tonight or first thing on Thursday.
