Kildare name team to face Offaly

KILDARE boss Kieran McGeeney has named his statring XV for this Sunday’s Leinster Senior Football Championship quarter final meeting with Offaly in Portlaoise, writes Ruth Chambers.

KILDARE boss Kieran McGeeney has named his statring XV for this Sunday’s Leinster Senior Football Championship quarter final meeting with Offaly in Portlaoise, writes Ruth Chambers.

Ellistown’s Andrew McLoughlin comes in to the team at corner back, while Mick Foley and Padraig O’Neill will start in the middle of the field. Moorefield man Daryl Flynn misses out through injury but is expected to start on the substitutes bench.

Kildare SF -v- Offaly: Shane Connolly; Andrew McLoughlin, Hugh McGrillen, Peter Kelly; Emmet Bolton, Morgan O’Flaherty, Ollie Lyons; Mick Foley, Paudie O’Neill; Johnny Doyle, Eoghan O’Flaherty, Alan Smith; James Kavanagh, Tomas O’Connor, Mikey Conway.
