results and draws

Round 3 of the senior, intermediate and junior championship got under way on Friday, continuing on Saturday and Sunday. The semi finals of the IFC were also down for decision this weekend.

Round 3 of the senior, intermediate and junior championship got under way on Friday, continuing on Saturday and Sunday. The semi finals of the IFC were also down for decision this weekend.

In the opening game in the SFC it was Naas who booked their place in the quarter finals while in the IFC Round Towers got the better of a spirited Eadestown side. while on Saturday Celbridge defeated St. Laurende’s.

On Sunday at 12 noon Sarsfields, after being a point adrift at the break despite playing 14 men, tore Monasterevan part in the second half winning on a score line of 3-16 to 0-9, while Clane overcame a spirited Allenwood fight back..

Results to date:

Joe Mallon Renault SFC Round 3:

Naas 1-6 Leixlip 0-8. St. Laurence’s 0-9 Celbridge 0-16. Sarsfields 3-16 Monasterevan 0-00. Allenwood 1-13 Clane 2-16.

Already through to the quarter finals are Athy, Moorefield, Confey and Maynooth.

Following this weekend’s action they will be joined by Naas, Celbridge, Sarsfields and Allenwood.

Joe Fox IFC Round 3:

Eadestown 1-7 Round Towers 1-11. Caragh 1-8 Sallins 0-8. Castledermot 2-10 Rathangan 1-11. Robertstown 1-5 Ballyteague 0-10.

Already through to the quarter finals are Johnstownbridge, Raheens, Kilcock and Ellistown. Following this weekend’s action to date they will be joined by Round Towers, Caragh and Castledermot and Ballyteague.

Joe Fox IFC Relegation semi finals:

Nurney 3-13 Kilcullen 0-4. Clogherinkoe 2-10 Kill 2-5.

Tom Cross JFC:

Capppagh v Grangenolvan off. Castlemitchell 1-15 Rheban 1-13.

Milltown 0-7 Two Mile House 2-14. Rahtcoffey 2-7 Straffan 6-13.

The quater final draws for the SFC are as follows: Athy v Celbridge; Maynooth v Naas; Confey v Sarsfields; Moorefield v Clane.

IFC: Ellistown v Ballyteage; Johnstownbridge v caragh; Kilcock v. Round Towers; Raheens v Castledermot.

In the JFC, Two Mile House and Castlemitchell are through to the semi finals with Ballykelly v Milltown and Straffan v Rheban in the semi.
