Ronan Quinn, the former outstanding Kildare full back and recent manager of Confey, has joined Jason Ryan’s Kildare senior football backroom as a selector. Ronan joins up with Damian Hendy with one more selector yet to be announced.
It is understood that the Leixlip man will also be heavily involved in coaching.
Jason Ryan’s strength and conditioning team is also coming together nicely, according to the newly appointed manager. Steve Sheeran (Maynooth), Brian McGrogan (Moorefield) and Alan Kenny (Newbridge) will be among the S&C team, with one more person who will lead that section of the backroom set-up yet to be announced.
Following four trial games, a panel of some 21 players will begin training immediiately and will be joined by members of the 2013 panel on 1 December.
