THE Seanie Johnston transfer request from Kildare to Cavan may be resolved in the next seven days, writes TOMMY CALLAGHAN.

Johnston personally attended a meeting with the Croke Park CCCC, accompanied by a St. Kevin’s GAA official earlier this week when he (Johnston) presented the committee with evidence in the form of utility bills and a tenancy contract with his landlord.

The CCCC have now asked Cavan Co. Board to revisit the transfer as it was they (Cavan Co. Board) who cast doubts on Johnston’s move to live in Straffan.

Cavan Co. Board rejected the initial request as they said they had no proof that Johnston had moved to live in Straffan.
