Kildare's Darroch Mulhall is out of Sunday's clash with Louth.
Athy man Darroch Mulhall will miss Kildare’s Leinster quarter final meeting with Louth after he had his appendix out yesterday (Tuesday).

Athy man Darroch Mulhall will miss Kildare’s Leinster quarter final meeting with Louth after he had his appendix out yesterday (Tuesday).

The forward, who showed good early season form, is a big loss for Kildare boss Jason Ryan but he is hoping to be back in action in four weeks time.

“I’m disgusted but what can you do,” said Mulhall today.

He added: “I’m hoping, all going well, to be back in four weeks. Maybe that’s being a bit optimistic of me though.”

Mulhall joins Fionn Dowling and Mick O’Grady on the injured list ahead of Sunday’s clash at Croke Park.
