Celbridge and Sarsfields to meet in Leader Cup final

THE final games in the Leinster Leader Senior Football League took place on Sunday evening and while the top teams, Celbridge and Sarsfields had already qualified for the final, all other outstanding issues were decided with Rathangan and Round Towers demoted to Division 2, writes Tommy Callaghan.

THE final games in the Leinster Leader Senior Football League took place on Sunday evening and while the top teams, Celbridge and Sarsfields had already qualified for the final, all other outstanding issues were decided with Rathangan and Round Towers demoted to Division 2, writes Tommy Callaghan.

Castledermot and St. Kevin’s make the step up from the Keadeen Hotel SFL to the top division while Milltown, despite winning their last three league games, along with Kilcullen, drop down to DIvision 3.

Sallins and Grangenolvan will be plying their league trade in Division 2 come next season.

The final of each division are due to be held shortly, no date as yet been fixed but it is expected they will be held sooner rather than later.
