Kildare Country Show received 200 Easter eggs from Cadbury, in order to help them organise this fun event for the local community, and to raise vital funds for Barnardos.

Each child taking part in the hunt paid €4 to enter, with all money going towards the good cause. There was also plenty of face painting, African drumming, races and other family fun activities to keep the 250 youngsters entertained, and some €1,125 was raised for Bernardos from the Easter Egg Hunt.

This year’s Kildare County Show takes place on Sunday, June 15, at Athy Showgrounds.
