NEWBRIDGE resident Eimantas Grigulius was one of 44 athletes who took part in the indoor Irish Rowing Championships in the University of Limerick earlier this month – and he finished second.The 27 year old Lithuanian born former rowing champion has lived in Ireland for the past six years and works as a fitness instructor in K Leisure Naas.

NEWBRIDGE resident Eimantas Grigulius was one of 44 athletes who took part in the indoor Irish Rowing Championships in the University of Limerick earlier this month – and he finished second.The 27 year old Lithuanian born former rowing champion has lived in Ireland for the past six years and works as a fitness instructor in K Leisure Naas.

Eimantas placed 2nd in the 2,000 metres event in a time of 6.12 mins just .06 mins behind Adrian Quinn (Ironcast) who placed first in 6.06 mins.

Eimantas was also placed 4th in the 500m in 1.20mins.
