Late last year, the Leinster Leader ran a competition with Ealu Spa Therapy and Bodysmart to offer someone the chance to look ‘Ten Years Younger’ through a complete overhaul of their diet and exercise, plus cosmetic treatments.

Montessori teacher Anne Woodlock, originally from Tipperary but now living in Connell Drive in Newbridge and a mum of two, was chosen as our lucky winner.

Anne has started attending Ealu Spa on Mondays and Fridays for two hours each time, for endermologie and mesotherapy treatments.

Endermologie is an effective and risk free treatment for cellulite. It manipulates the skins structure through rolling and suction processes. This process restructures the skins connective tissue, stimulates lymph and blood circulation and eliminates toxins.

Virtual mesotherapy is needle free fillers for the face. The mesotherapy machine generates currents that cause the micropores of the cell membrane to temporarily open. This allows active ingredients to pass the epidermal barrier and enable them to be absorbed deeper.

She has also, in the last couple of weeks, attended a weight management clinic in Ealu’s Naas salon, and is undergoing a programme at Bodysmart in Naas.

“It’s very good so far,” said Anne. “So far I’ve lost 9lbs and I’ve another bit to lose.”
