Desperate Housewives are back in action for charity at the Curragh

Women of the county and beyond are invited to what promises to be a fun evening on September 21.

Women of the county and beyond are invited to what promises to be a fun evening on September 21.

Since 2006, guests have enjoyed the unconventional entertainment laid on by the ‘Desperate Housewives’ team and this years night at the Curragh Racecourse Champagne Bar promises to be no different.

“It’s a real excuse to get the girls together and support local good causes at the same time” said Annie Morris, one of the organisers.

“We have a superb venue, great entertainment and all we ask is that guests come along and enjoy themselves”.

This year, all money raised goes to support two local families who have suffered bereavements.

Special guest on the night is “Christian Grey” and she is quite sure that there will be a long queue to play the much anticipated game ‘50 Pairs Of Pants’.

One new feature this year is that it is a strictly ‘Bring your own Bottle’ event.

“I am not sure what Mr Grey drinks. All we know is that he has asked for a tub of ice cream to be provided backstage,” said Annie.

Doors open at 8pm. Tickets are E10 and go on sale this week. They can be purchased from Annie on 086 225 4213.
