Preparations are well under way for the 3rd Leinster Loop charity cycle which will take place on Sunday 19th August at St Laurence’s Community Complex. We expect this year’s event to be bigger and better than before – once again the cyclists will be led out by the legendary Stephen Roche, who is looking forward to returning, having really enjoyed last year’s event. Again all funds raised will be for the National Breast Cancer Research Institute (NBCRI) and St Laurence’s Community Complex. For now we’re asking you to put the date in your calendar, as we need all the volunteers and cyclists we can get! Last year’s event was a great success – as a community volunteer day, as a fundraiser, and it was also a great day out for the participants. We’re looking forward to doing it all again, with your help. We’ll keep you updated with plans – we have a National Launch and a local launch coming up, and some changes to routes to announce.”
