Parish School Sports Day
A big Thank you to all who helped to make the Parish Sports a success. Special thanks to Allenwood GAA Club for providing the field and helping out on the day. Thanks to Tony Moore for doing MC and all parents and staff who helped out. Congratulations to Milltown School who won both Cups and to Allenwood Boys and Girls who won the Tom and Marie Tobin Cup.
Allenwood BNS Clean Up
A big thank you to Emma Cunningham, Darren Stafford Leah Denagher and all the staff and pupils who did a great job at our annual Clean Up Day on Wednesday 23rd May.
Championship Result: Milltown 1-6 Castlemitchell 1-5. Football: The re-fixed League Game against Robertstown was played last Tuesday night. Milltown lost by six points (0-17 to 1-8) to our parish neighbours. Reserve Team: Unfortunately, the Reserve Team has withdrawn from all competitions after conceding two League fixtures. It is hoped to start again in 2013 if player numbers improve. Many thanks managers Ber Dunne and Glen Gorey for their work with the team. Committee Meeting Tuesday 29th at 9pm.
