Golf Classic

Rathcoffey GAA’s annual golf classic takes place this year on Saturday June 23 in Knockanally Golf Club. A morning reservation has been made with tee times available from 8 am to 12.30 pm. Hopefully the Saturday staging will encourage a full turnout of 30 four-balls.

The format will be as in previous years. The two best scores will count on each hole with all four counting on the 18th. A tenth of the combined handicaps will be allowed. There will be separate categories for full G.U.I. teams with Society handicaps. Players with no handicap will have a max of 18. In addition there will be a ladies category if there are more than two ladies teams.

The cost for each team of 4 is €160 (€40 per player). Prize giving will take place in the Clubhouse on Saturday night during the annual BBQ.
