The result of the Dunlavin Inn Golf Society to Tulfarris were 1st Paul Kirby, 2nd Andrew Dunne, 3rd Peter O’ Connor, F9 Dave Carty, B 9 Christy Bracken. Next outing will take place on Sunday May 27th to Coollattin. First round of match play competition must be played by then. Camphill Community would like to thank all who supported their recent head shave and dye which took place in Meitheal Coffee shop last week. The event raised €700 for cancer research.
Sympathy is extended to the family of Hamilton Delargy formerly of Tournant, Dunlavin who died last week. Funeral took place in Dublin. May Hamilton rest in peace.
As part of this years “Spring Clean “ the committee are organising the cleaning of several areas in the town on Saturday May 19th 2012 from9.30am to 11.30am.If you are aware of any particular area that requires attention please contact some of the committee. The committee are inviting residents to give an hour or two to help in this voluntary effort to make the town look its best. Gloves and rubbish bags will be provided on the day. Meeting point will be the monument on the Fair Green.
The annual raffle will take place on Saturday June 2nd in the Imaal Hall. There will be 10 prizes of €150, €75, and €50. your support would be appreciated. All funds raised will go back into improving our town.
Car Boot Sale

Jonathan Swift National School
A car boot sale will take place in the school grounds during the Festival of Arts on Sunday June 17th from 12noon to 6pm. Cars €10, Vans €15. Set up from 11am.

Bingo takes place in the Imaal Hall every Saturday night at 9pm. The funds raised by the Bingo goes towards the upkeep of the Imaal Hall and well worth supporting.

Dunlavin library opening hours are as follows Tuesday 6.30pm to 8.30pm, Wednesday 3pm – 5pm and 6.30 –8.30pm, Friday 11am –1pm and 3pm to 5pm, Saturday 11am -1pm. Closed on the Saturdays of Bank Holiday weekends.
