Chapel Lane Lights
Residents in Chapel Lane and Sallins Bridge were relieved when new public lighting was finally installed on the lane in the past week. Chairman of Sallins Fianna Fáil James Lawless said the cumann had lobbied the council for the works for some time and thanked Councillor Callaghan for making funds available from his works allowance to ensure the lights could be installed. The lights will improve safety at night for all residents of the lane and anyone who uses it as a shortcut to Sallins Bridge estate or to access the GAA clubhouse and grounds at end of lane.
