The Brigidine Sisters and friends are organising a Golf Classic at the Curragh Golf Club in aid of Solas Bhride Centre and Hermitages building Fund on Wednesday, June 13th 2012.
Teams of four persons at €400 per team (meal included). Tee times from 9.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. There has been a very good response to the Classic to date. A few team spaces available. The organisers would welcome your support. You can email your entry to firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 045 522890. If you are a non-golfer you may wish to sponsor a tee box for €100.
At the heart of this new ecologically sustainable Spirituality centre and Hermitages is the preservation and development of the spiritual and cultural heritage of St. Brigid, which is synonymous with Kildare, and an integral part of Ireland’s history.
How fitting that this fundraising Golf Classic for the new Centre takes place on the Curragh plain, which has been known as St. Brigid’s pastures.
The Brigidine sisters wish to thank all those who have entered teams for the Classic, and those who have donated prizes or sponsored tee boxes to date.
