Rathangan U/13 Soccer
St Patrick’s Day saw Rathangan U/13 play host to Corinthians of Cork City in the Quarter Finals of the All Ireland SFAI U/13 Soccer Competition. Unfortunately the nerves got the
better of them with the occasion and the big crowd prevented them from playing to their best. On the day Corinthians played the better football and deserved to win 4 - 1. Rathangan
have gained much from the competition and hopefully can move on even further next year. The Club would like to extend a big thanks to Ruth Conlon and Staff of the Burrow for
putting on a great spread after the match for both sets of players and parents. The Rathangan Club would like to wish Corinthians the best in their attempt to lift the All Ireland. Also
a big thank you to all who turned out to cheer on the lads. Much appreciated. Onward and upward for the future
