Sallins GAA lotto results for Monday May 28 2012: The draw was held in The Bridgewater Inn and the Jackpot was €2650. The numbers drawn were 7, 11 and 28. There was no jackpot winner. The €40 winners drawn on the night were: Christy Halpin, Carol Walsh, Mags Griffin, Gertie Noone and Kathleen Blanchfield.Next draw will be on Tuesday June 5 in The Mill and the Jackpot will be €2,800. Remember that Sallins GAA Lotto is just one of very few organisations that you only need to pick 3 numbers to win the Jackpot.

The club would like to thank everyone involved in our recent field day. It was a great success and family fun day out.

Fun Day

The underage soccer club’s annual Fun Day which celebrates the efforts of all players for the season just finished will take place on Sunday 17th June.

Support

Midlands Support Group is for family and friends affected by suicide. The confidential support group, recently established in conjunction with HOPE(D) welcomes people from all areas in Kildare. They meet on the first Wednesday of each month at the Aras Building (beside Fas) Main Street, Newbridge at 8pm. The aim of the group is to connect with people where members can share experiences, advice or just listen providing sympathetic understanding towards one another. For people who have lost a loved one to suicide and would like to connect with others who have gone through the same experience please feel free to come along. Sallins Celtic Underage Soccer Club

The underage soccer club in Sallins is running an academy for all local youngsters wishing to get involved in soccer. The academy seeks to introduce boys and girls between five and nine years of age to soccer in a fun environment – all children born from 2003 onwards are welcome. The academy will run every Saturday in June at 10am and there is no cost involved.

Entrance to the pitches is at Millbank – continue past Lidl and watch out for the sign. Contact club secretary Mark Donegan at 086-8971238 for details.
