Mr. and Mrs. in Allenwood GFC
A night with a difference not to be missed in Allenwood GFC clubhouse is the club’s very own Mr and Mrs competition which will take place on June 9 at 8.30pm. The hosts on the night are David (Dag) Kelly and Rosanne Moore. All welcome - come along for a great nights entertainment and bring a friend.

Allenwood seniors had a fine win over Maynooth in the league with the final score reading Allenwood 2-13 Maynooth 2-08. Best were Mick Mullin, Tom Byrne, Mark Hogarty, Noel Casey, Kenneth Swords and Martin Baneham. The Senior B team were beaten with a scoreline of 2-11 to 1-07 in favour of Moorefield on Monday night.
Best of luck to all our young members who are sitting exams. Congratulations to all our young members who won the senior school final this week. The final score was Allenwood 8-07 Clougherinkoe 1-06. All lads played well on the day. Well done to the teachers in mentoring the team - Barry Cahill and Catherina Dalton It was last won in 1991 so this is a great achievement for these young lads. We wish Billy Maher who picked up an injury during the match a speedy recovery. Well done all.
Robertstown have drawn Ellistown in the second round of the Intermediate Football Championship. Senior Football League Div. 5 North. Robertstown Underage Committee
The Annual Perpetual Tournament for Underage Teams is on Sunday, June 24, from 11 am. Four clubs have agreed to enter Under 8s, Under 10s and Under 12s teams on the day. Under 8s will be a 7 a side with max of four subs. The Under 10s and Under 12s will be played 11 a side with max of three subs. Each child taking part will receive a medal and the winning Under 10 and Under 12 teams will receive a perpetual cup. Admission €4 per car. Barbecue food all day with refreshments and cool drinks. Fun for all the family.

Na Fianna Ladies GFC
Ladies Senior League Na Fianna 4 - 05, Kilcock 0 -12. Fixtures: Ladies Senior League Tues 5th June Na Fianna away to Kilcullen at 7.30. Hard Luck to the U14 girls who lost to Miltown in the league semi final. It was a great performance considering 5 of the girls had played for Allen School two hours earlier in their win over Two-mile-house in the U13 Girls Schools Final. Girls you are a credit to your club and your school. Well done.
Ballyteague GFC Club Day
Club Day will take place on Sunday June 10 starting at 1pm. Fun for all the family with BBQ, cake stall, underage football and many other attractions. Come along for a great day out.
SFL Div 5 Tuesday June 5, Ballyteague away to Johnstownbridge at 7.30 pm. Well done to the U14’s on their second win in the league. Well done to the girls from Allen School on their brilliant win in the U13 schools final in Moorefield on Tuesday afternoon with the scoreline of Allen 4 – 05 Two-mile-house 3 – 2. We send our congratulations to the whole team and their mentors Ms Murphy and Mrs O’Connell. In a brilliant game, five points from Aine Murphy and goals from Aoife Doyle, Sallyann Stewart, Kaytlin Maher and Orla Mattimoe sealed the win. It was their third appearance in the final and they thoroughly deserved to take the cup home. IFC second round Ballyteague have drawn Eadestown.

St. Kevin’s GFC
Our first and second team continue to do well in there respective leagues and best of luck in up coming matches. St Kevin’s would like to wish the best of luck to all in there upcoming exams. There will be plenty of football when they are over. St. Kevin’s underage training is on Fridays ages 4 years of age and upwards.
