the 9th June to Kilkenny in aid of the underage football setup. We would like to thank everyone who has signed up for the cycle to date. So far we have 120 people heading to Kilkenny on the day. We would ask everybody in the community to help the cyclists with their fundraising cards. It will benefit the underage football for boys and girls, so please give your support. Last League matches this week. Last week our U9 team had a fantastic 1-0 win over Kill Celtic in a very fast moving game, the U10 major team travelled to Athy and continued their wonderful season with a 4-0 victory.

The U10 Premier team had a brilliant 3-3 draw in Rathangan, our U11 Major team are on an amazing run which they kept going with a brilliant display for a 3-1 win over Sallins Celtic, the U11 Major 1 team lost in heartbreaking style to Newbridge Town 3-2 with virtually the last shot of the match hitting the back of the net.

The U12’s continued their fabulous run with yet another scalp to their collection with a 2-0 victory over Rathangan from a higher leaguein the semi final of the Shield to reach the final.

The U13’s had two games, first was a comprehensive 5-1 league win over Kill Celtic and then they faced Monasterevin in the semi final of the shield, and what a match this was with both teams giving every thing and after normal time it was 1-1, into extra time and with passion and a huge home support Prosperous scored a goal which takes them into a final beating a team from the division above them.
