This is your life!
This Is Your Life: A large crowd gathered recently in The Milltown Inn to surprise Milltown GFC club chairman Fran O’Sullivan on the occasion of his birthday. KFM’s Killian Whelan was MC for the night as old friends and new lined up to reveal Fran’s hidden depths and long-forgotten misadventures. Well done to all who organized the night which turned out to be late and loud. Discretion prevents us from revealing what milestone age was reached but heartiest congratulations nonetheless. Cul Camp: Parents can now log onto kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie to register on-line for the 2012 Cul Camp. €5 discount available when using code from Kellogg’s cereal packets. The juniors also went down to Ballykelly recently in the League. Both teams are working off a very small pool of players and all support is welcome. The first round of the championship is on the horizon so hopefully the injury situation will ease in the coming weeks. The juniors are away to Ballymore on Tue 8 May. Club History: work is progressing nicely on the Club History and some wonderful old photographs have been unearthed. The search is on-going and, in particular, we are looking for any old camogie photographs or memorabilia.
