Kevin’s poetry performance at Punchestown!
Kevin Burke, captain of record breaking 1950s Ballymore team, has being invited to recite ‘’the Races of Punchestown’’ on Wednesday 25 April at 4.30pm in the parade ring. Kevin reciting the poem at his 85th birthday party was posted on the internet and resulted in Punchestown Management issuing the invitation.
Alzheimers Tea Morning
Alzheimers Tea Morning and Cake Sale will be held on Sunday, 29 April after 10am mass. Please remember those who cannot.

Matron Helen Dreelan from Coughlanstown is appealing to Ballymore people to support a fundraising auction in Athy GAA Clubhouse on Sunday, April 29 at 2.15pm with viewing from 11am. All funds are in in aid of St Vincent’s Nursing Home where there are many Ballymore residents. Refreshments will be available throughout the afternoon. Approx 400 lots for auction including furniture, pottery and china, art work, hampers, electrical items, gift vouchers, spirits and wine and lots more besides. Bargains galore to be had.

BME GFC is trying to organise a heart screening programme for members aged 14yrs - 35yrs for Sudden Adult Death Syndrome. The cost is €45 per person. Anyone interested should contact Michelle Waters on 087 797 3454 to book a place. A minimum of 35 people is required for screening to take place.

Yoga classes in Ballymore
A brand new class will be starting in Ballymore Eustace next week. Cost is €70 for a block of six classes, drop-in class is €12. Stonebrook Pet Farm
Stonebrook Pet Farm at Coughlanstown West will re-open on 5 May, between 2-5pm every weekend until the end of August. Weekday group tours and private parties can be arranged by appointment. Children and adults can visit their favourite furry and feathered friends in the beautiful setting of Stonebrook Farm. There’s Elf and Snowy the ponies, Podge and Rodge the Kune Kune pigs, Albert and Chopin the Alpacas and the latest attraction, Rumpole the Pot Bellied pig with goslings and chicks to hold, and children can collect eggs from the hen house.
They can feed this year’s spring lambs, and meet John and Edward the pygmy goats, the calves and the Soay sheep. There’s a spacious play area and refreshments available from the kitchen café.
