Athletics finals

Kilcock area athletic community games finals takes place on Monday 28th May at the athletics track in Bawnogues. Registration at 6.30pm, events from under 8 to 16 years. Entry fee €2. For information contact 087-1312904.

Winners Presentation

Cappagh Camogie Presentation night for 2011 Junior League winners takes place in Connolly’s of Ballagh on the 2nd June at 8.30pm. Live music on the night from 9.30pm.

Book Club

The monthly meeting of the Kilcock Contemporary Classics Book Club takes place on the 8th June at 9.30pm in Murphy’s Lounge, Kilcock. The book chosen is “I Capture the Castle” by Dodie Smith. All welcome especially newcomers.

Kilcock Canal Festival

The preparations for the Kilcock Canal Festival are under way and with a BIG programme of events to be organised the committee are looking for volunteers to help out in any capacity.

The festival is taking place from Friday 29th June to 1st July. Anyone who would like to be involved may e-mail kilcockbusinessociation@gmail.com.

Scoil Dara Fashion show

Scoil Dara fashion show staged in the GAA complex was great success. The show organised by the Parents Association to raise funds to improve sports changing faculties on the school grounds realised the sum of €7.000. Thanks extended to the teachers and student’s who became models for the night and all who supported and helped in anyway to make the event such success.
