Last draw was held in Railway Inn, jackpot was €1,150, numbers drawn were 12, 13, 29. Five winners of 40 euro were Harry Pender, Karen Heffernan, Martin Pender, Dave Molony (c/o Mill) and Fr. Jimmy Doyle. Next week’s draw will be in the Bridgewater and the jackpot will be €1,300.

The Club AGM will be held on November 27th at 8pm in club premises.

Railway Inn Golf Society

The society will have its last outing of the year on Sunday 18th November to Millicent. Visitors are welcome – inquire behind the bar for timesheet and details.

Underage soccer club

Sallins Celtic underage soccer club will run its annual Race Night fundraiser on Saturday 1st December in The Bridgewater Inn. All are welcome to attend what should be a good night.

As well as being a vital source of fundraising for the club it’s a unique chance for the adult volunteers and parents/guardians to get together in a social setting.

We welcome the sponsorship of local business (full page advertisement in race programme is €60, half is €30) and individuals (€5 to sponsor a horse). Please contact club secretary at 086-8971238.

Our confidential support group, established in conjunction with HOPE(D) welcomes people from all areas in Kildare.

We meet the first Wednesday of each month at the Aras Building (beside Fas) Main Street, Newbridge at 8pm. Our aim is to connect with people where members can share experiences, advice or just listen to provide sympathetic understanding. For people who have lost a loved one to suicide and would like to connect with others who have gone through the same experience please feel free to come along.
