On Saturday July 7, the group Print Block collective will come together with budding young artists in an attempt to making the largest print in Kildare.

It will take a great deal of help and hands, so they are calling on all Kildare families to call to the centre and join in the fun, to help achieve this once in a life time piece of art work for the town at a free family drop-in session at the Riverbank from 1pm - 3.30pm.

The workshop will engage children with ‘visual imagery relating to journeys, crossroads, home, past and future’.

Participants will have the chance to learn about and experience a variety of print techniques including screen-printing, mono-printing and block-printing and will be the first to make their mark on Kildare’s longest ever textile print, which will be hung in the gallery for the duration of the summer season.
