ST VINCENT DE PAUL
Kilcock branch of St Vincent de Paul will hold their annual church gate collection this weekend. The members of the society extend thanks for your support and appeal for your continued generosity once again. All funds collected goes to help the most needy and elderly in the community.
For the month of December the parish shop opening times are as follows: Saturdays 10.30am to 12.30pm and after the vigil mass at 6.pm. Sundays after 9.am and 12 noon masses. Weekdays: Tuesday to Saturday 10.30am to 12.30pm. A large selection of gifts and cards for all occasions including mass cards. Why not call in and have a browse around.
TIDY TOWNS THANKS
The Kilcock Tidy Towns committee extends thanks to all who supported their recent church gate collection. The sum of E537 was realised.
KRIS KINDLE/GIVING TREE
The Kris Kindle/Giving Tree campaign was launched this week in the two churches. On the brightly-lit tree will hang tags with a name and age and parishioners are inviteed to take a tag and purchase the relevant gift. The gift with tag should be brought to the church before 16th December in order to allow time to distribute the gifts in time for Christmas.
SANTA 5K DASH
Kilcock Ladies Gaelic Football Team have organised a Santa 5k fun run on Sunday 16th December. The run will start at 1pm at the GAA Club House. Registration at www.runireland.com for E12 or E15 on the day.
The Kilcock contemporary classics book club will hold its next meeting on Wednesday 19th December in Murphy’s Lounge at 7.30pm.
