Local councillor Liam Doyle wants Kildare County Council to tackle a number of issues in Kilcock.

Local councillor Liam Doyle wants Kildare County Council to tackle a number of issues in Kilcock.

A shore covering at New Road has already been repaired and the shores cleaned and footpath and pothole repairs are to be done at Highfield Park.

Meanwhile a consultation process and agreement is required before Kildare County council can install yellow lines at Fairgreen. The council say that if the extent and location of the yellow lines can be communicated to its roads design office a drawing will be prepared so the consultation can be started. He also wants the council to investigate the possibility of installing a loading bay at the harbour because traffic is delayed as vehicles double park while delivering to businesses in the area. Kerbing repairs at Courtown Road will be done to make driving and walking safer.
