Celtic Underage soccer club ANNUAL rACE NIGHT FUNDRAISER

Sallins Celtic underage soccer club will run its annual Race Night fundraiser on Saturday 1st December in The Bridgewater Inn.

All are welcome to attend what should be a good night.

As well as being a vital source of fundraising for the club it’s a unique chance for the adult volunteers and parents/guardians to get together in a social setting.

We welcome the sponsorship of local business (full page advertisement in race programme is €60, half is €30) and individuals (€5 to sponsor a horse).

Ranganna Gaeilge to start new classes

Sult na Sollán recently celebrated their three anniversary, having been set-up in Sallins back in 2009, to promote Irish music, Irish culture and the Irish language in the area. They are kicking off their regular Irish language conversation classes again on Wednesday 19th September - a 10 week course, focusing on conversation, group participation, and building up confidence and vocabulary, through small class groups.

The classes will be help in Sallins National school.
