Maynooth resident author Martina Reilly has just launched her latest book. “What If?” is the story of three women and a diary which changes their lives. When Lily Flynn’s memory starts to fade, she dusts off her old diary and requests that it be read to her in the presence of her daughter. Her wish is simple - that her daughter Deirdre comes to understand the choices Lily made years ago and that she forgives her mother for the mistakes she made. It’s warm, funny and humorous. “What If?” is Eason’s book of the month for January and is priced at €14.99. It’s available in local bookshops. Martina is on twitter @MartinaReilly and Facebook. Her web page is www.tinareilly.info
