FETAC Level 5 Course
St Kevin’s Community College will continue to run FETAC Level 5 course next September. The college is offering a Business Studies & Office Administration course and is accepting enrolments for September 2013. This course is full time, however, it may also be taken on a part-time basis and the College will facilitate those applying who may wish to complete the course over a two year period. Fr. Willie Walsh Walk
Fr. Willie was presented with a cheque for €4,050, proceeds from the annual walk which goes to help with his ongoing work in Kenya. The committee would like to thank all who supported.
Dunlavin Inn Golf Society
The incoming committee for 2013 Captain Anthony Deering, Vice Captain PJ Harte, Secretary Andrew Dunne, Treasurer, Carmel Caplis, Handicap Secretary Keith Willis, Committee Peter O’ Connor, Paul Kirby, Johnny Allen, David Carty, David Corrigan, and David O’ Toole. Cup Challenge Captain David O’ Toole. First outing for 2013 will take place on February 23rd to Athy, tee time 10 am –11am. The March outing will be to the K Club on the 30th, meet at 8.30 am for breakfast and tee time 10-11am. Cost E40 which includes breakfast. New members always welcome cost €30.

Meals on Wheels
The new rota for meals on wheels is being drawn up for 2013 and volunteers are being sought. The meals are cooked on a Tuesday morning in the Jonathan Swift Hall and then distributed to Dunlavin, Donard and the Glen of Imaal. If anyone would like to volunteer to cook or drive they would be very welcome. Contact 0879693960 if you have a few hours to spare on a Tuesday.
Violin and Cello lessons
From January there are a few vacancies in Children’s
Cello and Violin lessons, which take place in Dunlavin National School. Violin lessons are on Saturdays and Cello lessons on Tuesday afternoons. Instruments are available for hire.
