PARENT AND TODDLERS STORY TIME
Kilcock Library are starting a parent and toddler story time for pre-school children under five on Thursday mornings from 9.30am to 10.30am.
Register with the library to join the group or just come along on the morning.

WHEN I GROW UP
Friends of the Coombe Hospital have launched a 2013 Calendar entitled “When I Grow Up”.
Each month features a child who has beaten the odds with the help, support and dedication of all the Hospital staff. Kilcock twin girls Claire and Emma Kiely feature for the month of May.

Kilcock Family Fun Day and Christmas Shopping Promotion
As part of the drive to promote business in Kilcock for the Christmas Season,
Saturday the 1st of December will bring lots of action to the Square in Kilcock from 2pm to 5pm.
A family fun day is planned by the Kilcock Business Association for all members of the community with special visitors including Santa, a live Nativity, the switching on of the lights and local choirs.
A huge Christmas tree kindly donated by Coillte will light up Kilcock and there are also some extra surprises planned and the event is free so bring along all the family.
The lights are funded by the KBA Kilcock Calendar which is on sale in shops for only €5 with every cent going towards the lights due to the kind support of local businesses.
The Kilcock Business Association have also launched a campaign to promote shopping in Kilcock for the 2012 Christmas Shopping Season.
By spending €20 in participating shops in Kilcock, one person will win a spending spree worth €250, sponsored by the Kilcock Business Association.
Chairperson Tara Lane explained; “We want to encourage people to do as much of their Christmas shopping in Kilcock as possible, whether for gifts, clothes or groceries and to encourage people to shop local, the KBA are sponsoring €250 worth of Kilcock Business Vouchers.
Entry is free when a person spends €20 in one transaction in participating business in Kilcock and the lucky winner will be drawn on Friday 21st December and presented with the KBA vouchers which can spent in Kilcock.
The businesses are delighted with this promotion as it will encourage people to shop local but it does not cost them anything to be part of the campaign”.
