BME Art Group

BME Art Group invites new members to join The Ballymore Eustace Community Art Group which has been in existence for several years. “We are an amateur group who get together in the Resource Centre on Monday nights” said Aileen Murphy. “We host an annual exhibition in the Ballymore Inn thanks to the kindness and generosity of Georgina and Barry O’Sullivan and their staff, for which we are very grateful. Some of our members have been in the group since the beginning with others joining over the years and we would love to see new members who may be interested in painting with us”.

At the moment some members go to art classes elsewhere and then come along to the Resource Centre to paint with the group. It is not an “art class” on Monday nights but the group is planning on securing some tuition or guest artist to give guidance and inspiration during the next term if there’s enough interested members.

“Our members can paint and develop at their own pace in a friendly atmosphere. We help, guide and encourage each other with no pressure what so ever. If you’re interested in getting involved, please contact any of the members or call Aine at 085-775 9494 or Aileen at 087-996 4016.
