Naas camogie success

Naas have won the Division 1 camogie Feile (under 14) title and will now represent Kildare at the All-Ireland Feile finals in Dublin in early July.

Naas have won the Division 1 camogie Feile (under 14) title and will now represent Kildare at the All-Ireland Feile finals in Dublin in early July.

They emerged as winners following a final against Maynooth after both come out on top of the qualifiers ahead of Celbridge, Broadford and Clane.

Naas were the stronger team on final day (winning 0-3 to 0-0), leading through the game though Maynooth never gave up forcing the Naas backs to defend to the end.

This team are holders of the U13 Division 1 League title. They were runners up in the U12 Division 1 league and they won the U11 Division 1 and U12 Division 3 leagues also.

Many of them have been together since they were 6 years old.
