E25,000 Lotto winner from Naas

FORMER Naas rugby player Mark Waldron has become a Lotto winner.

Now a Cork-based greengrocer, Mark picked up a cheque for E25,000 – his Lotto match 5 plus the bonus number prize from a recent draw.

Mark, originally from Naas in Co. Kildare, currently runs a greengrocers on Lower Cork Street in Mitchelstown called Mark’s Fruit ‘n’ Veg. He bought his lucky E10 quick pick ticket in Centra, Lower Cork St, Mitchelstown, Co. Cork and plans to use the win to pay some loans.

Good causes benefit from the sale of all National Lottery games, with one third of all sales (approx) going to fund beneficiary projects around the country, as designated by Government.

Since the National Lottery was launched, over E3.4 billion has been raised for good causes. This level of funding has made a significant difference to communities, projects and individuals in the areas of Youth, Sports, Recreation, Amenities, Health, Welfare, Arts, Culture, National Heritage and the Irish Language.
