Awards for Naas RFC players and volunteers

Naas RFC honoured players and volunteers at its recent 2011-2012 awards ceremony. Barry Carey, President and Paul Stapleton, Chairman, presented the awards to the club’s highest achievers.

Naas RFC honoured players and volunteers at its recent 2011-2012 awards ceremony. Barry Carey, President and Paul Stapleton, Chairman, presented the awards to the club’s highest achievers.

The club recognised the contribution of Craig Ronaldson, former Naas player and Ireland club team player and welcomed Daragh O’Shea as a coach and a player to the club.

O’Shea is a former Newbridge College player who played in a Junior and Senior Cup final and semi final respectively. He won the Leinster Senior Cup on three occasions and played for Leinster.

Local man Jim Casey, PRO, was honoured for a second time in recent months when he was named Club Person of the Year. Jim picked up an award at the Leinster Awards in April.
