North Kildare Chamber - the largest business representative organisation in Co. Kildare - is to open a new office in Naas Town Centre (the building which housed the former M & S store).

At the same time, the chamber is establishing a business innovation hub which will help new businesses starting up all over the county; partly through the use of experienced mentors.

“The office will be state of the art with 3,000 square feet of space, fibre broadband, 14 ‘hot’ desks, training rooms, a boardroom and all the facilities our members require,” said the Chamber President Niall Browne.

The chamber will also hire an office administrator to “due to our increasing membership and workload.”

The plan was announced at last week’s North Kildare Chamber Punchestown Preview lunch with guest speaker Ruby Walsh, which was held in the K Club.

Meanwhile the NKC is planning a number of events between May and early July, including a womens’ charity lunch, a social evening at Naas Racecourse, a meeting with IDA head Barry O’Leary and a tender workshop - in addition to weekly network events.
