Marketing expert Paddy Power, from the bookmakers of the same name, was the guest speaker at the North Kildare Chamber business breakfast at the K Club last week.

The annual event was held on Thursday, February 20, with the support of Dooley Insurances.

Representatives from some 250 local businesses were in attendance, ranging from sole traders to SMEs and representatives from all the large employers in the county.

Newly-elected North Kildare Chamber president Niall Browne acknowledged that the excellent turnout was a reflection that the activities of the Chamber are gathering pace.

Mr Power entertained the room for more than half an hour with stories of how the bookies market their brand locally, nationally and internationally.
