It has been announced that 150 new jobs will be created in Leixlip by the MGS.Mfg Group.
The jobs will be located in an existing building on the Hewlett Packard Campus in Leixlip and will involve the investment over three years of $12 million.
At an announcement made in Castletown House this morning, Friday, December 14, it was explained that intention of the MGS.Mfg Group is to build on its existing business connections in Europe. MGS.Mfg Group Inc, is a leading provider of engineered manufacturing solutions to the plastics industry.
They are headquartered in Wisconsin, but with four plants in the US.
The company will be investing over $12 million USD over three years in a 150 person manufacturing facility in the existing 45,000 sq. ft. building.
The investment is supported by the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation through IDA Ireland.
The announcement has been welcomed by local TD’s Emmet Stagg, Catherine Murphy and Bernard Durkan and North Kildare Chamber.
The news follows the announcement of the Kerry Group which is set to create 900 jobs for the Naas area over the coming years.
