Outdoor sculpture exhibition Vanishing Art is making its first annual appearance at Carton House in Co. Kildare.

Outdoor sculpture exhibition Vanishing Art is making its first annual appearance at Carton House in Co. Kildare.

The historic estate of Carton House, once the ancestral seat of the Earls of Kildare and Dukes of Leinster, provides the perfect backdrop for one of Ireland’s most exciting developments in sculptural exhibition.

The artwork will be displayed throughout the grounds of the estate with a small number of pieces being displayed within the historic mansion house. The exhibition displays a vast array of styles, including a piece from Conleth Gent carved from a 200-year-old fallen oak tree from the Carton Estate itself. The free exhibition runs until 14th November.
