Medley of musical hits from Athy Musical and Dramatic Society

Students from Ard Scoil na Trionoide have joined the society for this production, and although everybody is working very hard there have been some great fun times as well, according to the cast.

“We will bring you through a journey of five decades of musical theatre, “ said a group spokesperson.

“The night promises to be a truly unique experience with music from fifteen Broadway and West End Shows. You can expect to hear showstoppers from such well loved musicals as “Oklahoma”, “Fiddler on the Roof”,” Sweet Charity”, “Miss Saigon”, “Phantom of the Opera”, “Hairspray”, “Les Miserables” and many more.”

Under the direction of Imelda Dooley, assisted by Flo O’Connor, Musical Director Niall Mulpeter and Choreographer Isobel Brady,Athy Musical and Dramatic Society’s latest production “That’s Entertainment”, takes place in The Clanard Court Hotel on Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22 May 2014 at 8pm.

Tickets cost €10 and are available from the Gem and Winkles Newsagents.
