Laois comedian Bernard O’Shea, known for his performances on RTE’s The Republic of Telly, will perform his latest show ‘My Name Is Bernard’ at Naas’ Moat Theatre this Friday, March 25.
The comedian is a veteran of the Montreal Just For Laughs festival and the Kilkenny Cat Laughs. This is his first time to play in Naas. The show starts at 8pm
Next Saturday, the Illegals, a double tribute to the music of The Eagles and Fleetwood Mac, will play at the theatre. The gig will feture Ireland’s Eurovision winner Niamh Kavanagh.
Niamh and the band will belt out a superb set of songs including Dreams, Go Your Own Way, Rhiannon and a particularly rocking version of The Chain – the now-famous intro music for Formula One.
And there’s a treat for kids and kids at heart in store next Tuesday, March 29, at 10.30am when the Lambert Puppet Theatre presents Bosco’s Garden.
Bosco’s Garden is a highly entertaining and interactive show where Bosco has to frighten the bad crow to help all his little friends in his garden. The show features a lot of audience participation, allowing children to get very much involved. All proceeds from this special performance will go to the Kildare Steiner School, and tickets are E6 each.
