Joe Watters retires

JOE Watters, Tipper Road, Naas, marked his retirement from the ambulance service with colleagues, friends and family members at Naas GAA Club.

JOE Watters, Tipper Road, Naas, marked his retirement from the ambulance service with colleagues, friends and family members at Naas GAA Club.

A native of Co. Sligo, he joined the ambulance service more than 30 year ago and retired as ambulance controller, based at the Amubulance Station, Monread Road, Naas, which covers County Kildare and parts of Wicklow and Dublin.

Mr. Watters previously served as paramedic and was also a shop steward.
