THE Naas Photography Group recently staged an exhibition of members work in Naas Library as a fundraiser for the Saplings School for Autistic Children in Kill.
The group was established in February by John Rapple and Ben Kelly.
On behalf of Saplings, John Whelan thanked the group for hosting the fundraiser.
He emphasised that although Saplings may be a small school, the life-skills and education it teaches young children with autism are invaluable to both the parents and the children.
However, fundraising is extremely important in keeping the school up and running.
Saplings teaches the children important life-skills, from dressing themselves to shopping and providing an education in a fun and caring environment.
The school will soon move form prefabs into the old primary school in Kill.
