Top award for Suncroft Lodge nursing home

Suncroft Lodge Nursing Home on The Curragh has been awarded the Excellence Ireland Q Mark Award for Irish Nursing Home of the Year 2009. It is the first Kildare nursing home to win this prestigious national award.
Director of Nursing Glenda Panes was delighted that Suncroft Lodge received this prestigious national award and thanked her team for their hard work and dedication in providing such high quality person centred care standards for their residents.

At an awards ceremony on October 30 last at the Burlington Hotel, Dublin, the national award was presented by Minister Mary Hanifin T.D., Minister for Social & Family Affairs, to Glenda and her team.

The Excellence Ireland Q Mark Award for Nursing Homes is an independent quality accreditation based on stringent care, quality and hygiene standards.

Suncroft Lodge offers long term, convalescent and respite care services. Suncroft Lodge is part of the Guardian Healthcare Group of Nursing Homes.

The award-winning nursing home is situated in Suncroft village, ten minutes from Newbridge and Kildare and 20 minutes from Naas.
