There was a feast of fashion at the Etihad Airways Classic Icon competition in association with Irish Tatler was held on last Sunday at the Abu Dhabi Irish Guineas festival.

The sun shone and the ladies dressed up to the nines to bag the top prize of an amazing trip to Abu Dhabi, with accommodation and flights courtesy of the award winning Etihad Airways.

Lucy Gillmore-Murphy from Enniskerry was declared the winner by the fashion judges who included editor of Irish Tatler Jessie Collins, media personality Claire Byrne and international bridal designer Patrick Casey.

Lucy was wearing a black fitted Julian dress, a cape from House of Fraser and a hat which she designed herself.

She completed her look with a bag from Pennys. Lucy could hardly contain her excitement as her flight tickets were presented to her on the day.

The four runners up included Naoise Pelin from Athy, Annmarie Blennerhassett from Dublin and mother and daughter Aisling and Marian Ahern from Roscommon. The runners up were each presented with a fabulous goodie bag containing an array of beauty products and pampering treats.

Famous faces at the track included Norah Casey of Dragon’s Den, who was spotted soaking up the Kildare sunshine and premier racing action.
