Newbridge Silverware has teamed up with the Make A Wish Foundation and launched three collectible decorations for the children’s charity.

The ambassadors for Make A Wish , Lorraine Keane and muscians Peter Devlin and Ryan Sheridan helped launched the decorations at a recent gala night held in the Silverware restaurant and themed “Icons and Idols”.

The guests of honour included the great nephew of Greta Garbo, Derek Reisfield who launched the Greta Garbo Jewellery Collection and was also joined by Gay Byrne, and Anne Doyle.

Make-A-Wish Ireland has one simple aim to grant the wishes of children aged between 3 and 17 years living with a life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.

A wish granted is described as ‘true magic for the child providing respite from their normal routines of hospitals, doctors and treatment’.

Since its inception in 1992 Make-A-Wish in Ireland has granted wishes for over 1000 brave children, realising their greatest wish and allowing them experience the hope, strength and joy each wish provides.

In all possible cases Make-A-Wish grants the child’s first wish ensuring that all immediate family members participate. Wishes are limited only by the child’s imagination.
