Prosperous man Dr. Rynne to address Ledwidge Day celebrations

Prosperous’s Dr. Andrew Rynne is set to be the Special Guest at the Ledwidge Day 2012 celebrations on Sunday, July 29 in Slane Castle.

Dr. Rynne, is a son of Alice Curtayne, considered to be the definitive biographer of Francis Ledwidge ‘A Life of the Poet’.

The event organisers say that Dr Rynne will relate how his mother came to write the life story of Francis Ledwidge, the connection between Thomas McDonagh and Francis Ledwidge and the famous Ledwidge poem ‘Lament for Thomas McDonagh’.

The title of his talk is; ‘My Mother and Francis’
