Naas Felt and Fibre is a group of individual textile artists from Naas and the surrounding area who meet regularly in Naas Community Centre.

Formed in 2010, it provides a creative and supportive environment for those interested in felt-making and creative stitching.

Their work includes individual pieces of textile art and felt wearables.

The first Naas Felt and Fibre exhibition took place in McAuley Place over November 27-December 1 and was opened by Moll Fullam of the Moat Club before a large attendance. Thirteen local artists exhibited their work which ranged from felt wearables, to sculptured wool works to creative stitched work.

The exhibition attracted a lot of interest, and the feltmaking demonstrations on Friday  delighted all age groups. The group are already planning their next exhibition.
